Between the years 1984 and 1986 three archaeological investigations found several tombs, both inside and outside the church. Some of the tombs date back to the XI and XII century and are dig directly into the grounds or collective cist tombs, some of them are instead more recent with wood coffins and from the XVIII-XIX century. Several artifacts were found inside the tombs, jewelry such as copper rings, silver and gold buttons, a lead buckle, a knife and an iron sword, an interesting lead plaque from a pilgrimage. A small lantern was one of the few ceramic artifacts.
