While visiting some of the churches in Selargius, you will learn about St. Giuliano, St. Antonio and the Lussorio, Cesello and Camarino martyrs. Every year, a procession from the rural church to the Beata Vergine Assunta church is held in their honour. In September, the Beata Vergine Assunta and the St. Giuliano churches host the Antico Sposalizio Selargino (Ancient Selargius Wedding), a folkloristic event that faithfully reconstructs the traditional Sardinian wedding ceremony.
